Essential oils are the essence of a plant and metaphorically we could say that they are the soul of the plant in which there is a life-giving energy of the sun. Essential oils are formed from plant cells and protect plants from bacteria, viruses and fungi, and they can also protect us – of course, if we use pure essential oils obtained from plants by a gentle form of steam distillation. I personally use doTerra essential oils and I have felt their healing power many times – either on myself or my family members.
